Pascale Belizaire Watson, Staff Attorney

Born in Boston and raised in South Louisiana, Pascale is a true southern girl with northern tendencies. Having lived in New Orleans, Houma, Lafayette, and Baton Rouge, she now calls New Orleans home. Pascale attended Wellesley College in Wellesley, Massachusetts, where she received a B.A. in International Relations and Economics. After college, she worked for Putnam Investments as an Institutional Account Administrator in Boston, Massachusetts

Pascale traveled back down to the south to attend the University of Texas at Austin’s LBJ School of Public Policy where she received a Masters in Public Affairs. While there, Pascale was co-chair of the Barbara Jordan Committee and worked as an intern for non-profit group, Texas Appleseed. Pascale then moved to Baton Rouge where she attended the Paul M. Hebert Law Center of Louisiana State University and received a JD and a Bachelors in Civil Law in May 2007. While at LSU, Pascale worked as a student attorney with the Juvenile Law Clinic. She also served as a volunteer with the Rape Crisis Center of Baton Rouge and with the Red Cross in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

Pascale became licensed in Florida in September 2007 and in Louisiana in July 2008. She worked as an assistant public defender in Tampa, Florida prior to becoming a staff attorney at JRS in February 2009.
